This song borrows from A Tale They Wont Believe (song by Weddings Parties Anything, which in turn is inspired by a passage from a book, The Fatal Shore). This song continues the story after Pearce is sent back to Sarah Island (where the weddo's song finishes), as Pearce attempts another escape with Thomas Cox, this proving fatal for Cox and leads to Pearces' capture.
